Moroccan giants FUS Rabat secured their 19th DEX-H Championship title by defeating fierce rivals AS Salé in Game 4, clinching the series 3-1. Wearing their special all-black playoff uniforms, the 78-year-old club battled AS Salé for control throughout the first half, leading by a slender 31-25 margin at halftime. In the second half, led by the skilled combo guard Johnathan Jordan, FUS Rabat dominated to win 77-59.

Despite a surprising quarter-final Basketball Africa League (BAL) playoff defeat to the Cape Town Tigers, the 2023-24 season has been hugely successful for the capital city club. FUS Rabat started their season with a nine-game winning streak, which AS Salé halted in an 88-78 defeat. They finished the domestic season with an impressive 27-4 record. After their shocking 91-88 BAL playoff loss to the Cape Town Tigers, FUS Rabat returned to DEX-H action, defeating MAS Fez 2-1 in the semi-final playoff series.

In the finals, FUS Rabat opened with an 82-56 win against AS Salé. Salé tied the series with a hard-fought 76-67 victory in Game 2. Rabat, a nine-time Moroccan Throne Cup-winning club, responded with a crucial 79-60 win in Game 3 and secured the championship with a commanding 77-59 victory in Game 4.
