FIBA Africa is keen on getting the women's basketball at par with their male counterparts, and who better than to have visionary former players guiding the process. We had a sit down with one such role model, Lea Kané, for a one-on-one on her view of the game from an administrative perspective.
Ferroviario Maputo dominate ASB Makomeno 88-38 with solid offensive performance from key players Anabela Cossa, Ingvild Mucauro, Carla Covane, and Stefania Chiziane. Anabela Cossa led the team with 19 points while Ingvild Mucauro added 14 points. The Mozambicans stifled ASB Makomeno's offense, limiting them to just 3 points in the last quarter. This victory also secured Ferroviario Maputo as the best third in all three groups.
