Cameroon

Cameroon is set to host the FIBA U16 Zone 4 Qualifiers for both boys and girls, a tournament that marks a significant milestone in the nation’s youth basketball development. This prestigious event will bring together the best young talent from Central Africa, providing them with a platform to showcase their skills on the road to continental and global competitions. As excitement builds, the preliminary roster for Team Cameroon will soon be announced, setting the stage for an intense and competitive tournament.

The second phase of the women's Cameroon YOUZOU Elite Basketball Championship tipped off on 15 and 16 March 2025, delivering several thrilling games. One of the most exciting moments came from FAP, who staged a remarkable comeback, overturning an 18-point deficit to defeat the Daniel Battiston Foundation team. In the first leg, FAP had trailed by the same margin but managed to rally back and now sit top of the championship table.
