The anticipation is over as the final 12-man rosters for the four African nations competing in the upcoming FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournaments have been announced. From July 2nd to July 7th, these tournaments will determine which teams will secure a coveted spot in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

The FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournaments are finally here. After weeks of speculation and unconfirmed reports (FYI all of our sources are legit, wink, wink!), we at AfricaBasket are excited to bring you the confirmed rosters for the four African nations—Cameroon, Egypt, Angola, and Côte d'Ivoire—competing for a coveted golden ticket to the 2024 Paris Olympics.
From July 2nd to July 7th, four Olympic Qualifying Tournaments will take place in Greece (featuring Egypt competing in Group B), Latvia (featuring Cameroon competing in Group B), Puerto Rico (Côte d'Ivoire, competing in Group A), and Spain (featuring Angola competing in Group A). Each tournament features six nations split into two groups.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the playoff round. However, only the champions of each respective FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament will secure a ticket to the Olympic Basketball Tournament at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
Group A: Georgia, Philippines and Latvia
Group B: Cameroon, Brazil, Montenegro
Group A: Slovenia, New Zealand and Croatia
Group B: Egypt, Greece, Dominican Republic
Group A: Angola, Lebanon and Spain
Group B: Finland, Poland, Bahamas
Group A: Côte d'Ivoire, Mexico and Lithuania
Group B: Italy, Puerto Rico, Bahrain
