REG Maintains Flawless Record in Group Stage with Convincing 96-65 Win Over ASPAC

REG secured their fourth win in four games to finish top of Group B, defeating ASPAC 96-65 on Thursday, December 14 in Alexandria, Egypt.
In their final group game against the Rwandans, who were led by their American teammates, the Beninese were unable to keep up, falling behind in each period to suffer their third straight defeat while their opponents were flying high in the standings.
Destiney Promise (22 points) and Tiffany Mitchell (20 points) again scored twenty points or more, while Nia Clouden had 16 points and Betty Kalanga 10.
Godgift Benson Joseph (15 points in the game) who spoke to AfricaBasket after the game:
"We listened to the coach's instructions today but the game was pretty tough just like the other games. Whether it was on defence, it was tough, but I think it was a good fight".
"It was a good, tough game, but we knew what to do. I think I played well today and I'm pretty proud of myself. Even on a collective level, we need to improve communication between us and be more aggressive, especially on defense," Chantal Ramu Kiyobe told AfricaBasket.
