KPA Tempers CNSS' Tournament Expectations With Huge Win

Kenya Port Authority allowed CNSS to get carried away with a 2 points head-start in day two’s first game for group A leading KPA 13-15 at the end of the first period. The second period was characterised with 20 turnovers, bad passes, easily contested shots and shot clock violations on the Congolese side. As a result, only 4 points were scored in the second period. 2 points from Grace Tolo in the first minute of play and the last two points came from the free-throw line from the same author after 9 minutes of bouncing. CNSS of Congo were yet to find the slightest concentration in this competition as KPA took advantage of every mistake committed by the girls of Ade Koko.

CNSS’ coach Ade thinks today’s game was better than yesterday’s. Left with two games they are here to play and search for the qualification spot to the next stage while they keep learning, he wants to correct the mistakes of game 2 and move forward.

It is a group that we are trying to bring up. When there is no concentration we lose a lot of balls. It is not going to be a one day job.
