Game day 3 at the Gabon Youzou Elite Basketball Championship saw LPJNM (Lycee Janvier Nguema Mboumba) secure a narrow victory over GSBC ELITE with a final score of 80-79. In another intense matchup, Owendo 70 dominated against Gladiators, emerging victorious with a score of 88-75. Guided by the esteemed coach Fabrice Nollet, the Owendo 70 club strategically outplayed their opponents to clinch the win.
The Central African Republic Basketball Federation has outlined its plans for 2024. In February, the federation aims to host its General Assembly and participate in the qualifiers for AfroBasket 2025. Additionally, they plan to conduct clinics for referees, advance renovations at the Martin Ngoko centre, and support Bangui Sporting Club for their participation in the forthcoming Basketball Africa League season.
The National Elite Women’s Championship tipped off last weekend, on January 20th and 21st, 2024, in Douala. The initial two days showcased the opening games with eight qualified female teams, marking an exhilarating start to the season. Here are the results from the first two days of play:

Wrapping up the action on day two, FAP experienced a setback against Daniel Battiston BC, losing 56-67.
The National Elite Men’s Championship is set to start on Saturday, January 27th, and Sunday, January 28th, 2024, marking the initial two days of play. The participating teams include:
