Saleh Al-Mejri, former NBA and Spain ACB star has been named the athletic director of the national team.

Al-Mejri boasts an impressive basketball career, having played for the Dallas Mavericks from 2015 to 2019 and had two stints with Real Madrid (2013–2015 and 2019–2020). His wealth of experience and skill set make him a valuable addition to the leadership of the national team. Additionally, plans for the upcoming Arab Championship for national teams have now been released. The highly-anticipated tournament will tip-off in December 2024 at the Beer Shlouf Hall in Nabel.
