The Women's Basketball Champions League Africa Confirm Is Back: Dates & Groups Confirmed!

The Women's Basketball Champions League Africa, formerly known as the Africa Women's Basketball League (AWBL), is set to make its highly anticipated return to the African basketball calendar on 27th October 2024, across Liberia, Cameroon and Tanzania.

Following an unforgettable 2023 season, which saw WNBA star Tiffany Mitchell face off against some of the continent's finest talents, including Cierra Dillard, Hagar Amer (ASC), and Madina Okot (KPA), the rebranded competition promises to be even more thrilling. This season will showcase some of Africa's brightest basketball stars, adding further excitement to the revamped tournament's tip-off.

Looking to capitalise on last season's competition, the league officials have announced the some of groups and some of the clubs that will feature in the early rounds of the 2024 league format:
