Cameroon's U18 Men's and Women's National Basketball Teams will leave the country for South Africa on August 21 to intensify their preparations ahead of the upcoming FIBA U18 Afrobasket. This crucial tournament, scheduled for September 1-14, 2024, will bring together the best young basketball talents across the continent. With Cameroon making its debut in the FIBA Women's U18 Afrobasket and returning to men's event for the first time in 18 years, both teams are determined to significantly impact the continental scene.

The teams, composed of some of the country's most promising young hoopers, have been training rigorously under the guidance of experienced coaches and technical staff.
