Sporting Club clinched victory in the 2023 FIBA African Women's Basketball League, with Cierra Dillard making a significant impact. Consequently, the 27-year-old point guard earned the prestigious title of MVP (Most Valuable Player) for her outstanding performance throughout the tournament.

Dillard earned a spot on the All-Star 5 team, a lineup that also featured outstanding players such as Victoria Reynolds (KPA), Destiny Philoxy (REG), Hager Amer (Sporting Club), and Madina Okot (KPA).

Sporting maintained a flawless record (7-0) in Alexandria, Egypt, with Dillard playing a pivotal role, averaging 12.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 7.4 assists per game. She emerged as a standout performer, stepping up for her team in challenging moments, emphasizing the importance of teamwork in her approach to the game.

Destiney Philoxy

She maintained an average of 23 points and 5.1 assists throughout the tournament, emerging as the top scorer for her team alongside Tiffany Mitchell. Notably, she showcased her scoring prowess in the semi-finals against KPA, delivering an impressive 41-point performance, although her team ultimately faced defeat.

Victoria Reynolds

She served as KPA's scoring powerhouse throughout the tournament, displaying an unstoppable three-point shooting prowess from every corner of the court. She maintained an impressive average of 20 points per game, solidifying her status as a key offensive force for the team.

Hagar Amer

Sporting showcased scoring talent from various players, but Hagar Amer consistently delivered with her remarkable long-distance shots. Her proficiency in shooting from afar was instrumental in Sporting's title-winning campaign. Amer played a pivotal role in leading her team to victory, emerging as the top scorer with a total of 153 points.

Madina Okot

The 19-year-old center made a significant impact on the KPA team, standing out as a dominant force. She led the tournament in rebounding, averaging an impressive 11 rebounds per game and earning the title of the best rebounder of the tournament.
