Sporting Club clinched victory in the 2023 FIBA African Women's Basketball League, with Cierra Dillard making a significant impact. Consequently, the 27-year-old point guard earned the prestigious title of MVP (Most Valuable Player) for her outstanding performance throughout the tournament.

Dillard earned a spot on the All-Star 5 team, a lineup that also featured outstanding players such as Victoria Reynolds (KPA), Destiny Philoxy (REG), Hager Amer (Sporting Club), and Madina Okot (KPA).
